L’Chaim! To Life!
In Jewish wedding tradition couples get married under a chuppah (wedding canopy). It is a symbol of the home the couple is building together with a cover above but no walls, symbolizing that they are a part of a larger community of family and friends.
I wanted to find a way to personalize my niece's wedding by sewing material squares with photos and images printed on them onto a material backdrop to create a unique Chuppah. i came upon Anna's beautiful hand-painted creations and purchased one of her Heart Tree Chuppah creations. It changed the ceremony into a whole new experience by creating a warm loving embrace over and around the bride and groom. it was truly transformational. thank you, Anna!
