Happy Jewish New Year!

Most people think of January first as the start of a new year, but I have always felt more of a connection with Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Maybe it is because it coincides with the start of the school year, or with my birthday, but I have always felt a new leaf turning in the fall.

Last Rosh Hashanah, we left our home in Houston and drove cross-country to start a new adventure in the San Francisco Bay. What a year it has been! I

got to speak at the QuickBooks Connect conference in Silicon Valley about my journey as a creative entrepreneur, I had the honor of having a show and running a workshop at the Bay Area Limmud FSU conference, and I joined an incredible community of creatives at Craftcation in Ventura.

Most importantly, I have had the pleasure of working together with so many wonderful clients to bring their artistic visions to life.

Here are a few of my favorite projects of 5778:

A commissioned housewarming gift for a best friend who made a big move

A Klimt-inspired ketubah

A celebration of the love between a mother and child

A great big portrait of a very special best friend

Yes, that's really how dirty I get when I work. Don't judge.

Whether you celebrate Rosh Hashanah or not, I wish all of you and yours a sweet, colorful year ahead!

Need a special Rosh Hashanah card to bring to dinner or give to a family member?

Look no more! Sign up for my mailing list and I will send you a free art card -- it's my thank you for staying in touch. Just download, print (preferably on cardstock), fold in half, and gift away!  Shana Tova u'Metuka!

Cheers to a great year ahead!
